The Four Film Productions in Hot Fuzz

Universal

Universal studios is a subsidiary of NBC Universal and part of the 6 major film companies, and was founded in 1912 by Carl Laemmle (it is one of the oldest American film companies still in continuos production). It owns a large film library from the earliest decades of the cinema revolution to more contemporary works. This includes Kick-Ass, Bruno, Inglorious Basterds, Wanted and of course Hot Fuzz. Being part of NBC it also own the right to a good range of TV shows.

Working Title

This is a British based film company and was found by Tim Bevan and Sarah Radclyffe in 1983, it also produces feature films and TV programs. Currently it is still owned by Tim but Eric Fellner has taken over Sarah's half. They prodominatly produces British films such as Billy Elliot, Four Weddings And A Funeral, Jonny English, Notting Hill and Hot Fuzz too.


Studio Canal


Studio Canal is a French film company and it owns the 3rd largest film library in the world and is part of the Canal+ Group which is owned by Vivendi SA. Pierre Lescure founded it in 1988. Films included in their library are Free Willy, Terminator 2 and Hot Fuzz.


Big Talk Productions 


Like Working Title Big  Talking Productions is an English film and television production company founded in 1995 by Nira Park. The company has produced films Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz both of which featured Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (spaced which is a television sitcom starred these two actors and produced by BTP)
